#6 May 4-5, Bowmans Gap overnight walk

Bowmans Gap overnight walk:
An easy overnight walk from Ormiston Gorge, along the Pound Walk to the lookout, then north off track to follow the north branch of Ormiston Creek to camp near Bowmans Gap. We have time to explore through the gap, and also the charming Waterfall Valley nearby in the afternoon and next morning. We return to Ormiston through the gorge which may require a short but cold wade or swim. The pack carrying section of the walk is quite short, and the walk overall is of an easy-medium standard (about 8km, 2.5 hours each way), so it is a great introduction to overnight bushwalking.
